These are the planets and moons found throughout the Hellion system. Each planet has a certain radiation level, orbital period, and military, civilian or industrial designation.

Hellion[edit | edit source]

Hellion

Hellion is the star that all planets in Hellion orbit around. Hellion is a red giant, located about 1700 light years away from Sol. Its radius is considerably smaller than what one would expect from a dying star with a mass comparable to Sol, and the strength of its magnetic field considerably larger.

With a mass of 1.25*1028 tons, and a radius of 8,452,280 km, this star is the largest orbital body in existence in Hellion. Since Hellion is the star everything else orbits around, its eccentricity, semi major axis, orbital inclination, argument of periapsis, and longitude of ascending node are all 0.

Whilst orbiting around Nimath and closer, solar panel efficiency is 100%, where output of a solar panel is at maximum capacity, this makes solar panels much more effective when closer to it.

Structures are exposed to 50 HP/S radiation damage when orbiting Hellion, meaning that you can only survive here with two tier 4 military cores, or one tier 4 and one tier 3 military cores.

Players are exposed to 20 HP/S radiation damage when around Hellion, meaning that you cannot survive here without constant stimming, even with a tier 4 suit.

Nimath

Nimath is the planet closest to Hellion itself and is a tier 4 zone. It is designated as an industrial planet.

It has a mass of 1.28*1023 tons, and a radius of 10,673 km. Its eccentricity is 0, meaning it has a circular orbit, its semi major axis is 28,315,841.41 km, orbital inclination is 6.48° degrees, argument of periapsis is 0° degrees, and its longitude of ascending node is 316° degrees, with an orbital period of 13 days. Asteroids around Nimath have a gas burst every 30-65 seconds.

Its eccentricity is 0, its semi major axis is 51,962,672.93 km, orbital inclination is 0.165° degrees, argument of periapsis is 0° degrees and its longitude of ascending node is 84° degrees, with an orbital period of 29 days. Asteroids around Athnar have gas bursts every 30-80 seconds.

Whilst orbiting around Athnar, solar panel efficiency is 94.535%, meaning that the output of a solar panel is near maximum capacity, making solar panels very effective here.
