Equipment

These are the varying types of equipment that can be found and used throughout Hellion.

Station Equipment[ | ]

Cryo Pod[ | ]

A Cryopod acts as a "bed" or respawn point for players in hellion. A cryopod can be used to invite other players into a free cryopod and therefore into your station/outpost.

Whilst a player is inside a cryopod, oxygen is not consumed, whether that be from the suit or the station, but their helmet does consume battery power if the light is left on during cryosleep.

The inside of a Cryo Pod is always pressurized, regardless of the pressure in the module and the stations air reserves.

Filters Air through Carbon Filters to increase the Air Quality in a station or ship. In the event of the Carbon Filters being depleted or missing the Air Filter will consume Oxygen to replenish Air Quality.

Air Generator[ | ]

The air generator uses both oxygen and nitrogen to create breathable air for the module/station you are in. This air is stored in a specific air tank of the outposts, life support modules, or ships attached to the station.

Life Support Interface[ | ]

The life support interface is a panel found in both ships, the outpost module, the life support module, and the command module, that controls all air, air generator and air filter controls for an entire station/ship. Its data includes every modules' air pressure, air quality, and gravity status. Using this panel, you can adjust air pressure, and turn off and on air filters/generators for your station.

Crates[ | ]

Storage for spare ship components. Components will only fit into the preformed slots designed for the specific component.

Cargo Interaction Panel[ | ]

The cargo interaction panel is an interface that allows the player to access the ship's/station's cargo, resources and allows the player to move them around through different storage areas, and into modules/ships.

Airlocks[ | ]

Airlocks are the primary means of players entering and exiting stations and ships. They allow you to pressurize/depressurize when entering and exiting the lock so as to conserve valuable oxygen.

Elevators[ | ]

Currently the only elevator is in the ARGES Shuttle. The elevator can be buggy and it is recommended you do not jump in it or leave items on the floor in it while it is in motion.
